Google Adwords launches ‘click to call’ only CTA ads

While Google Adwords has offered click-to-call for a while now as part of adword campaigns via extensions, now they have introduced click-to-call with no other actions available. Targeted for mobile (obviously), these new ads will have a description of the company and only allow you to call – you will not be allowed/able to click through to a website. This seems to be a great new way to generate potential customers instead of just letting them land on your landing page. Also, this should do very well with those running pay per call offers. Matomy Media acquires MobFox

Per TechCrunch, Matomy Media Group based in Israel has acquired Australian based mobile ad network MobFox for $17.6 million. This is expected to expand Matomy’s presence in the mobile media world in short order.

Millionaire Network closes!

Not quite living up to their name, the Millionaire Network closes doors, leaving affiliates on the hook for $$$ in payments. Famous for their Affiliate Summit West booths with doormen, security and a velvet rope and guest list, apparently that wasn’t enough to keep them in business. We hope none of our readers lost $ due to this!
